Water-Cooling

The stainless steel Hastelloy tube that protects the optical rod of the endoscope is cooled by water. The tube is composed of 3 successive casings. Cooling occurs by means of water circulating through the casings. A helical wire initiates a VORTEX effect that increases cooling efficiency.

Benefits

  • Homogeneous temperature distribution over the entire tube.
  • Elimination of "hot points" (responsible for weld breaks).
  • Reduction in water consumption.
  • Extended tube life cycle.
