How does it work ?

How can an endoscope withstand temperatures of 2,000°C?

CESYCO high-temperature endoscopes have been fitted with a powerful cooling system that ensures effective operations in a furnace heated to 2,000°C through:

  • Water cooling (the Vortex effect) protects internal optics. The water circulates within a tube composed of 3 successive casings.
  • Air cooling (the Venturi effect) preserves the front lens, which remains in direct contact with the heat emitted from the furnace.

A reliable safety system

High-temperature endoscopes feature a safety system that acts to permanently monitor:

  • Water pressure
  • Water flow rate
  • Water temperature
  • Air pressure
  • Air temperature
  • The electronic alarm

In the event one of these parameters defaults, an alarm would be triggered and the device immediately removed from the furnace.
