How does it work ?
How can an endoscope withstand temperatures of 2,000°C?
CESYCO high-temperature endoscopes have been fitted with a powerful cooling system that ensures effective operations in a furnace heated to 2,000°C through:
- Water cooling (the Vortex effect) protects internal optics. The water circulates within a tube composed of 3 successive casings.
-
Air cooling (the Venturi effect) preserves the front lens, which remains in direct contact with the heat emitted from the furnace.
A reliable safety system
High-temperature endoscopes feature a safety system that acts to permanently monitor:
- Water pressure
- Water flow rate
- Water temperature
- Air pressure
- Air temperature
- The electronic alarm
In the event one of these parameters defaults, an alarm would be triggered and the device immediately removed from the furnace.
